Yes, we had a tree. We put it on the altar every year. It's only about 4' high, but since it's on the altar it almost reaches the ceiling!Chasmodaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17446895268367549402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8020345378684046993.post-81888044972115692052009-01-01T09:38:00.000-08:002009-01-01T09:38:00.000-08:00Happy New Year!!!Happy New Year!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8020345378684046993.post-21625778725547131452008-12-26T13:41:00.000-08:002008-12-26T13:41:00.000-08:00Happy day after Christmas!!!Happy day after Christmas!!!Curious Curanderahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15038325050484053144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8020345378684046993.post-65881951026546716482008-12-23T18:50:00.000-08:002008-12-23T18:50:00.000-08:00Your yule sounds like a wonderful way to honor the...Your yule sounds like a wonderful way to honor the health needs of the children and spend time together.

Do you have a tree? I perhaps am more of a secular Christmas person than a pagan in terms of celebration but in terms of reflection (dreaming, hibernating, appreciating nature and the rhythms and power of the solar system, I am a pagan at heart. :-)

I enjoyed your post. BTW, I came over because I noticed you are following my blog. I thought I'd say hello and happy Yule.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17296223961815248113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8020345378684046993.post-69671166880545625882008-12-17T19:08:00.000-08:002008-12-17T19:08:00.000-08:00I understand what you mean! I also wash the doorknobs, light switches and faucets, hoping that I can prevent the spread of germs that seem to reinfect each child just as his symptoms subside. Nothing seemed to help until my friend sent me a really neat product. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends coughing and sneezing into the elbow. I have taught my children this skill by using Germy Wormy. It is an arm sleeve with a cute worm character on it that "catches" the germs.

Here is the site:

www.germywormy.com

Hope you are free from colds soon!betsy leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06885812522834983773noreply@blogger.com
